Welcome aboard! Grab a cup of coffee. Check out the articles and ideas here
as well as the classes, seminars, and other services. I struggled with clutter control for years. My speaking and writing
evolved from my personal struggles and from stories and ideas shared by my readers, students, and fellow simple living seekers.
Truly, we can learn to reduce clutter and organize our homes and lives so that we can focus on our priorities.
We can support each other in simplifying our lives and change how we think about and approach the clutter struggles that we
all have. Together, we can learn to make better choices. You can clear the clutter to simplify and focus your life. We will
talk about clutter clearing, organizing, housework, cooking, paperwork, cleaning, laundry, wardrobe, and more. I would be
honored to help you free up time and energy for your priorities.
Consider these ideas:
- Live green by donating your extras to others who have
a greater need in this down economy. It is a win-win situation: You will make your home a more peaceful and restoring space
and help others at the same time!
- Get rid of clutter to live a simpler life or to spend
more time on your personal priorities instead of your clutter. The choice is yours!
- Clutter clearing means different things to different
people. Each of us has our own unique situation, style, personality, and perspective.
I don't have all the answers. There is no one right
way to get rid of clutter or organize a home. After over thirteen years of teaching and writing about clutter, I help by sharing
a variety of ideas and resources in my book, free e-mail newsletter, website, articles, and blog. Pick and choose what works
for you. Small steps add up to big improvements. Clear clutter and organize your home to free up your time and energy and
make your home more organized and comfortable for you and your family. You can do this!
Do you remember
the television series called "The Odd Couple?" Oscar was the messy roommate and Felix was the tidy one. Well, I
am an "Oscar" trying to be more like a "Felix" because I sometimes have been able to experience the advantages
of a simpler less cluttered life. I want to help others interested in clutter clearing to free up time and energy to pursue
their priorities.
Maybe you are struggling
in a down economy? Times are tough or uncertain right now for many people. We can sell our extras to generate needed cash.
We can also use this time to evaluate our priorities and help others by donating our extras. Are you tired and drained? Do
you feel stressed out and overwhelmed? Is it difficult to find peace and calm? Is your "stuff" dragging you down?
Do you have a nagging feeling that buying more "stuff" isn't making you happier? The ideas here can help you today!
